Pterodactyl 36 Rear Induction £249.98 RRP Inc VAT - This is the all new 36cc rear induction reed valve engine from Pterodactyl - a high quality engine from a new manufacturer for the UK market to enjoy. As can be seen from the finish this is a well engineered engine with good quality throughout including a hard chromed cylinder, genuine Japanese made Walborough carburettor and Japanese bearings with reed valves from Italy and is supplied with an Iridium spark plug. This is not a budget quality engine, but a full specification model at a very realistic price of just £249.99 including 20% vat. The 36cc size is really useful and can probably be used to upgrade existing 26cc powered aircraft in some cases, or provide a good alternative to specify right from the start. This is the only engine currently made by Pterodactyl as their first successful 50cc rear induction engine is now discontinued, but a new 72cc horizontally opposed twin cylinder engine will join it at the end of the year.
This engine will join the range of engines we already distribute from Zenoah and CRRCpro as an interesting alternative at a size and price we do not already have.

[KCR129] Over the years we have often been asked if we can supply suitable sized spanners to fit MCD cars, and for years the answer has always had to be “no”as we had no tool supplier - but now we have sourced and made up our own set of spanners that should be very useful when working on any MCD car from the very first of the early Bluelines to the very latest V4 and X4 models.
These spanners are all the sizes that we have used when working on this huge variety of MCD types, and so they should be perfect for any type that you own now or in the future. The spanners all all good quality with one open end and one ring end for each size to fit all applications.
We also include a Zenoah plug spanner/screwdriver tool as this is another item that is often lost or not in the tool box when it is needed. This superb little combination set sells for just £21.99 including 20% vat. If you are a V4 or X4 driver, the only other spanner you will need is one to fit the large 23mm hex wheel nuts. We already have a superb little tool for this that will complete your spanner set nicely. Note:- Blueline, Blackline, Evo 2 and Evo 3 drivers do not need this wheel spanner as it is only for the MCD V4 and X4 models – but can also be used on the HPI Baja 5B wheel nuts too!

All new CRRCpro engines sold by us will have a unique serial number recorded on our data base so we can identify the age of the engine and the original dealer or customer at any time in the future.
This will also help to identify the grey imported engines that have no form of warranty or factory support.
Initially we will engrave these code numbers ourselves, but the factory will add them to all new engines in the future so they too can identify where the grey imported engines come from and who is selling them. It will also identify the fake and copy engines that customers have told us they have bought from mail order sources
Due to the large number of non-genuine engines that have been sold in the UK, we will no longer offer any form of warranty to any engine unless it is returned to us with the original sales receipt that has been issued at the time of purchase from an authorised UK dealer that has been supplied with the engine by King Cobra.
